Biomes & Nature - Bleeding Hearts (2)

Bleeding Heart

The bleeding heart is a new plant that spawns in the crimson, FINALLY replacing deathweeds.

Not sure how they would effectively be replaced in a crimson world, but I'm sure it's possible.

I think it should be called bloodweed. Saying "Bleeding heart planterbox" sounds weird to me. It should function the same as deathweed

But the plant is based off of an actual plant that actually makes sense. Thats the entire point of my suggestion. ._.

Personally, I'd say ignore this. Any Deathweed already present stays as Deathweed. Any new plants that grow can be Bleeding Hearts. And similarly, they can both grow and bloom on Ebonstone or Crimstone.

(Now I wish there was a plant that grew on Pearlstone, but I guess Crystals fulfil that role.)

I think this is a crimson variant of death weed. There has not been a crimson alternative to death weed. However no one will be bothered about an alternative for death weed as it doesn't affect game play that much.

It's a good idea but it's not going to have an impact on game play if this is implemented. That's a good sprite but I think death weed can somehow fit into the crimson biome as well as the corruption biome. I have an idea for how the bleeding heart can relpace death weed: it just grows in place of where there used to be death weed.
It's hard to explain to you what I mean without getting warning points (there is no way I'm running the risk of warning points AGAIN).

It may not have an effect on gameplay, but it has visual effect. For me, I hate seeing that 1 purple pixel in my crimson biome.

It's only a visual change. You won't run the risk of warning points as long as you don't say anything thats generally insulting.

I think it would make more sense to keep the Deathweed, but change its coloration to match the Crimson.

This is the plant that they are based on by the way.

Deathweed (Crimson Breed)

Yeah... but the name still wouldn't make thematic sense, and if it's a different item it might as well have a different name and texture.
